To commemorate our 10th anniversary, Senior Services is proud to honor native Wichitan, Willis “Wink” Hartman. An icon in the community, Wink continues the Hartman Oil legacy established by his grandfather in 1920. From the Jimmy’s Egg franchise to Chester’s Chop House and Hartman Arena, Wink has made major contributions to commerce and development in our community. Please help Senior Services “roast and toast” a successful businessman and generous citizen the only way we know how – the Galaxy way- a night filled with laughter and love! This event is intended for adult audiences only.

The Roast & Tribute to Wink Hartman
In April 2008 Senior Services along with Spangles’ Rene Steven Brand, KAKE TV’s Susan Peters and Davis-Moore’s Dawson Grimsley embarked on a fresh and entertaining idea for a new fundraising event. In three very short months the very first “A Galaxy of Stars Celebrity Roast of Dawson Grimsley” was organized. Over 400 people were in attendance that first year. Guests left anxiously awaiting the next roast! Since then the roast has expanded to include tributes and has now become the largest fundraising event in Senior Services’ history. Now in our 8th year and our 9th roast/tribute the event has paid homage to some of Wichita’s most prominent people – Todd Tiahrt, Nola Foulston, Dr. Jody Galichia and Jack DeBoer have all been “roasted and toasted” to support the work of Senior Services.
